I started writing when I published my first magazine as a ten year old, forcing my entire family to buy it every other week for over a year….

Originally from Denmark, I now live in New York City. I studied at the University of Southern Denmark and at the Sorbonne in Paris, where I lived for almost twenty years before moving to New York in 2004.

I’ve studied fiction writing at New York University and in a workshop with Susie Mee, an author and NYU writing instructor. I have also studied with Danish writers Lars Rudolf Stadil and Carsten Grolin.
